A life long dream becoming a reality, has been our theme this last year. We decided to catapault our breeding program to a new level, by taking over an existing stud. They had exceptional international bloodlines including, Russian, Polish, American, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, etc. Featuring El Shaklan, Bey Shah, Magnum Psyche, Marwan Al Shaqab, Ali Jamaal, Baywatch V, WH Justice, Magic Dream CAHR, Om El Exceed among others. Many of the dams and sires of our newly imported horses have won national and international titles, both for halter and under saddle.
In preparation, we trained more grooms, built extra stables, paddocks, a handling facility complete with crush and an AI room, wash bays, a phantom and teasing area. We went on AI workshops and did training in natural horsemanship. We also launched our web page and social media department.

July was another first for us, at a local horse jumping show, where both our daughters rode their mares - FS Russian Doll and FS Shining Victory. They did very well. In August, our daughters Alannah and Kylee, rode the same mares in the annual Chivero Challenge which was a 15km trail ride, they came in the top three. It was the first time outside Arabians had been brought in to ride at the Challenge, the second time our daughters rode there. Alannah had borrowed one of the Stafford’s Arabians mares in 2020 and she won!
On September 1st 2022, we welcomed *Jasper MC (USA) our beautiful grey stallion (son of WH Justice, known as “The Champion Maker”), together with 4 mares and 3 fillies. They have settled incredibly well and we are thoroughly enjoying working with them all. Our family run team is honoured to have this amazing opportunity. We believe in training using natural horsemanship methods.
We also attended the Namibian Arabian Horse Show, with the rest of the Zimbabwe Arab Horse Society (ZAHS) committee, which was a fantastic opportunity to connect with other breeders and experience a show of international standards. Much was learnt, and we look forward to being involved in the Zimbabwean Arabian Horse show in 2023 and thereafter.
The ARC Annual Champs was another event, where we scooped places in dressage, jumping, costume and showing. We had a trainer from South Africa who was fantastic in all things, from groom training to showing, riding lessons, breeding advice, face clipping, stand up, backing.
It has been such an amazing journey for us this last year. Being on the committee of the newly resurrected ZAHS, has been both inspiring and exciting. The passion and dedication of the other breeders is admirable. To be part of Arabian breeding in Zimbabwe, is truly fantastic.
Sadly, on November 1st 2022, a devastating and unexplainable tragedy occurred, which left our beloved Jasper with a fatal skull fracture. We were absolutely heartbroken, but not defeated. We will do our best to ensure that his legacy lives on. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their incredible support during this difficult time.
We were very blessed and fortunate to be offered a new stallion for our breeding program, a Jasper son – FS Mozart. He was imported, along with two Jasper colts – FS Thunder and FS So Magnifico- two stunning progeny of our beautiful son of WH Justice.
Our goal, as breeders, is to produce purebred Arabians of the finest quality and to promote this phenomenal breed of horse with integrity and passion.
